The Race of Champions Super Stock division feature race "Wings & Things 25" did not race their feature event tonight. The night fell short of completing all the classes due to town curfew as a result of lightning outage.
ROC had the Super Modifieds & the SMAC Modifieds also on hand for the night. A total of 6 classes in competition for the evening. It was a First Quarter Moon lit night.
The track had a section of lighting go out on the back stretch. Luckily for the ROC officials, racers & fans the night was "saved".
A gentlemen name unknown, whom use to do work at the track in the 90's. Showed Joe S. & ROC team where they might find the suspected cause of the outage. In about a hour the lighting was restored.
The 4, 6 cylinder divisions, Super Winged Mod's & SMAC Mod’s completed there feature races. The plan is to run double 602 & Super Stock feature's on 7/12/2024.
